Busch joined CTG’s New York branch in 2012 after having been an agent at Phoenix Artists for five years. Notable NY film & TV clients include Marquise Vilson (Tom Swift), Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Daphne Reid (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Shawna Hamic (Orange is the New Black), and James Andrew O’Connor (Hightown). "Sarah Vaughan's voice, completely different from that of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald or any of the other great jazz stylists before her, brought to jazz an unprecedented combination of attractive characteristics..."

Earlier in 2020, Will Smith partnered with Airbnb to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the show by allowing people to spend a night in the original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air house. Several sources place the house in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood, a 15-minute drive from Bel-Air where the Banks family supposedly lived (the exact address has been edited out of privacy concerns for the home’s current residents). The spacious house plays a central role in the ’90s TV show, with most of the scenes taking place on its premises. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton, came up with his now-famous dance on the show, which went on to become a popular meme and GIF.

For starters, the luxe mansion featured in Bel-Air is actually not located there in real life; instead, it's on the east side of Los Angeles, in the Bradbury Estates neighborhood, reveals Kaplan. While used for years in connection with the "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," the home itself is a private residence. That private residence also boasts four bathrooms and nearly 4,000 square feet for living space. Additional features include a sizable walk-in closet linked with the property's main suite, numerous fireplaces, a three-car garage, a swimming pool, a spa and a gazebo. As Architectural Digest reported, the beloved property has also been rented out to guests as an Airbnb. Guests who choose to stay in the home can not only enjoy residing there for a time, but they will also receive a greeting from DJ Jazzy Jeff (who starred in the sitcom) and enjoy meals served on literal silver platters.
The single-family home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and is a whopping 6,438 square feet. It sits on a .88 acre lot and was originally built in 1937, but was given a renovation in 1946. The Colonial-style, two-story home came with a beautiful fireplace and pool and included 9 rooms in total. If you feel cheated in the slightest, know that there aren’t many differences between Bel-Air and Brentwood; both Los Angeles neighborhoods are home to the ultra-wealthy and feature huge mansions that set the tone for high-end real estate in the city. Almost 25 years after we said goodbye to Will, Jazzy Jeff, Carlton, Hilary, Aunt Viv, Uncle Phil, and Geoffrey the witty butler, HBO Max pleasantly surprised us with a heartwarming reunion episode that brought back a big part of the cast, in a highly familiar setting.
"Bel-Air" is a reimagined version of the original show, following Will's journey from the streets of Philly to the wealthy suburb of Bel-Air. It puts a dramatic spin on Will's story and doesn't shy away from heavy topics like racism and gang violence. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when Will caught him trying to steal his stash of money. Geoffrey then gave him a large amount of money to attend the Cambridge Academy of Butlering, since Frederick had convinced him that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps.

Starting Sept. 29, Los Angeles County residents will be given the opportunity to book a stay at the home in a group of up to two. The five available dates, which will only cost $30 in honor of the show’s 30th anniversary, are Oct. 2, Oct. 5, Oct. 8, Oct. 11 and Oct. 14. Will Smith announced on Instagram Sunday that the house from the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” would be made available for rent on Airbnb. Realtors across La Jolla came together to figure out how much your favorite onscreen homes would cost to purchase. But we have to appreciate all the efforts made to appeal to die-hard fans of the ’90s sitcom.

As breathtaking as the homes are, you can't help but question how much the seaside homes in Nancy Meyer's films or the lavish city apartments of Sex and the City cost in real life. Luckily, the La Jolla realtors did the math and figured out the value of some of the most iconic homes from film. One key factor that separates Bel-Air from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is that the former is a single-camera show with a more realistic depiction of life, while the latter was a three-camera show that was known for being comedic. This, in turn, influenced the style of the homes that play starring roles in the respective series. Many of you may be surprised to know that the show, which was produced by Quincy Jones (father of the insanely adorable Rashida Jones), was actually based on the life of music producer Benny Medina. Medina decided to pitch the idea with his real estate buddy to Mr. Jones who had just signed a TV contract with Time-Warner and the rest, folks, is history.
During the fall 1991–1992 season, NBC gained two hit television shows to anchor their Monday night lineup (Blossom aired immediately after The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). To gain popularity between the two shows, Will Smith appeared in the Blossom episode "I'm with the Band" as himself under his rap stage name, The Fresh Prince. That same season, Karyn Parsons appeared in the Blossom episode "Wake Up Little Suzy" as Hilary Banks. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is an American television sitcom created by Andy and Susan Borowitz for NBC.
Phil decided to go into politics without consulting with Vivian, who was furious when she eventually found out. The family was shocked when she went to stay with her sister, Helen, until Phil got his act straight. Will, Ashley, Hilary, and Carlton tried to get them to reconcile, and it was a struggle, but it all worked out in the end. This goes to show how much Phil and Vivian valued their relationship and their family. Phil and Vivian had different ways of showing their family that they cared, with Phil being strict and losing his temper when his kids misbehaved, and Vivian being more nurturing and compassionate towards them.
The music often used to bridge scenes together during the show is based on a similar chord structure. Back in early 2020, Will Smith partnered with Airbnb to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show. For a limited time, die-hard fans could rent a wing of the house that had been decked out with all the Fresh Prince, 90’s nostalgia you could imagine. Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s purchase of their Santa Barbara home last summer, it hasn’t exactly been prime time for the couple to sight-see and explore California, given the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent stay-at-home protocols. It should come as no surprise that the exquisite Bel-Air mansion from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air came in at the top of their list at an estimated average price of $9 million.
Then a friend challenged her on a dare to sign up for amateur night at the Apollo Theater in New York. Paris Vaughan starred in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” but appearing on the big screen was not new to the actress. She grew up as the adopted daughter of late Sarah Vaughan, one of the greatest American musicians of all time. Phil reassured him that he had a lot of potential, inspiring him to stay in California to complete his bachelor's degree. The childish, unambitious Will from Season 1 may not have chosen to attend college, even with Phil's encouragement, but now he saw that it was important to take school seriously. Although it was hard for Will to say goodbye to everyone, he knew that they'd always keep in touch, no matter how far apart they lived.
The show features an all-new cast that pays homage to the original characters while also portraying them in new ways. The "Bel-Air" version of Will (Jabari Banks) is funny and charming, but he's also confrontational and deals with complex emotions. Hilary (Coco Jones) looks as stylish as ever, but unlike before, she's a food influencer with a big following on social media. As for Carlton (Olly Sholotan), he's still spoiled and arrogant, but he has traded his goofy yuppie antics for a much more fragile emotional state. Will Smith is involved with the show, but instead of being in front of the camera, he serves as an executive producer.
